Kate works in oil and with pastels and willow charcoal. Her oils are low key and atmospheric, whilst her pastels and charcoal work are more expressive. She focuses on the landscape, people in the landscape and also sometimes works from her imagination on more lyrical and dreamlike imagery.

New Collection of Charcoal and Pastel Drawings
“Caitlin’s Castle”

A series of large charcoal and pastel drawings to illustrate “Caitlin’s Castle”, a magical story for the child in us all written by the artist. The drawings, whilst forming part of a narrative, stand alone as pieces of art in their own right, taking us into a parallel universe. A limited edition hand-made signed copy of the story accompanies each picture.
