Documentary Projects

Kate has become known for her rural documentary projects. She also interviews her subjects and extracts from the interviews accompany her paintings and drawings in exhibitions and her books. She also gives illustrated talks on her projects to Women's Institutes and art and history groups.

She has published illustrated books on willow growers and basket makers, shepherds, beekeepers and farmers.
